Well we have just returned from our awesome little trip to Chicago! We had a great time! At the airport on the way there we had a little delay on our flight, but we made it chicago in a timely manner safe and sound...by the way of first class! I have never been a first class passenger and I must say it was wonderful! And it made the flight so much more fun!
Day 1:
We spent the day walking up Michigan Ave shopping, and just taking in the city. We walked up to Millennium park and saw all the modern art displays. It was a really neat place.
We walked over to the Sears Tower ( we pretty much felt like we walked the whole city of chicago!)

We ate at great restaurants and got some really good food!
Day 2: (Aka My birthday!)
We went to the White Sox Game! We had so much fun!
We got to ride the "L" (Subway) Very fun!

Day 3:
We went to the Beach...yes they have a beach in Chicago! We took a nice walk up the beach to the free zoo at Lincoln park. It was a nice day!
WE did so much it's really hard to list everything!
We are so glad we decided to go to Chicago and we will go back.. We loved that city!!
And last but not least after we made it back to SLC we made a pit stop to visit with Birttany and Bobby and see their little baby Oliver. He was so adorable! We had a great Visit! I hope to make it back soon!

We had a great time when we visited Chicago too! We went when Britt and Bobby lived there. Isn't that huge bean the coolest thing ever! Oh, and the hershey's store was stinkin awesome too:) I loved the American Girl store, I was REALLY into those when I was younger but Kaylee was too little to share my enthusiasm:) I am SOOO jealous you got to go see Oliver, he looks DARLING in his picture! I can't wait to see him again!!

Sorry it has taken me awhile to comment you Kristy - that silver round sculpture is called "The Bean" - so you DID make it to the bean after all. I loved Chicago too - we went 2 times while Britt was there. Loved the L - very exciting for rednecks like us! I'm so glad you got to go - so much to do! We loved the Shedd Aquarium with beluga whales - also saw Wicked!
