My Saturday was a bit eventful...now nothing to exciting just interesting! Now let me start from the beginning.....
Miguel headed out Fishing with his friend Darrel. So I get a nice day to myself..which doesn't happen ever! So I'm laying in bed not wearing much (just got out of the shower) watching a life time movie. When all of the sudden I hear urgent banging on the front door and the door bell is ringing like crazy. So first i panic as I always do when I'm home alone and the door bell rings thinking "oh my gosh! Someone is here to kill me!" After that thought passed and I was able to get out of my bed and throw on my robe I went to the door. Low and behold it's only the neighbor kids wanting 50 cents to put on a dance show for me. Aaahhh cute I thought. So I forked out 75 cents (going just above and beyond to become the favorite house on the block) They were very excited and told me they would be back to get me when the show started!
I never really thought that they would come back...well they did. At first I thought that if I didn't answer the door they would just go away...well I was WRONG! They stayed and knocked for like 3 min! They were determined to put on a show for me!
SO I gave up and answered the door and proceeded to follow them to their yard for the show.
Now I'm walking around the block and the kids turn out to be the neighbors directly behind my house ( we share a fence). The mom happened to be outside watering her plants. So I stop and say "Hi my name is Kristy I just live right there" And she says NOTHING, NOT A WORD! she nodded her head (only once) didn't even have the curtsy to give me a smile and then proceeded to turn around and continue to water her plants! So I'm still standing there like an idiot not knowing quite what to do or say....so I just walked away fuming mad!! Oh ya and I got to watch the girls put on a pretty lame dance show!
I was just so upset that my neighbor would treat me like that! At least say "It's nice to meet you" or heck a smile would have been nice! I don't know what her problem was but If she ever needs to burrow an egg or something she can FORGET about it!
I should have guessed she would be mean...everyday I hear her just screaming at her kids! It gets rather annoying...and to top it off she is pregnant again! Great!
Of course Miguel was gone fishing so I started cleaning the house like a mad women to keep me from going back over there and saying something mean to the lady....don't know her name obviously!

OK back to Miguel's first Fishing TRIP! HE had a really fun time! And caught 2 pretty big fish!
How many guys does it take to season a fish???
We threw the fish on the BBQ and they turned out "cooked to perfection" (so I'm told) I hate fish so I opted for chicken!
All in all a good ending to a very interesting day!

Ha. I was laughing out loud at your story. Really- who does that. Sorry about your mean fence mate. Too bad the dance show wasn't even worth it.
You should totally find out who she really is so that we can all be mad at her and say..."that was that one mean lady who was so rude to Kristy":) Too bad about that; did you get some good cleaning done out of it though?!
Josh and I always clean when we are mad. That is too funny. Not about the lady though. Very rude.
Haha, I love the neighbors stories. You should write more random posts like that, and call them something like the Diary of a Wyoming Wife!
Probably the mother of one my students who never sent back homework or answered my phone calls. Find out who it is and I can most likely give you more reasons not to like her. ha! I am proud of you for the 75 cents though - you are very generous.
Love the story!! The borrowing and egg part was my favorite!! HA HA HA always the funny one!
