Well today we dropped Miguel's mom off at the airport. She spent the weekend with us. It was nice having her in our home. It gave me a chance to play the roll of the "Perfect Wife"...If there is such a thing! I cooked the meals and actually cleaned the kitchen after the meal was finished! I tried to keep all the rooms in the house as clean as possible. I can already tell that this kind of behavior will not last too long...it was exhausting! :) While we spent a day in Salt lake we took Maria to Temple square and went and saw the temple. She was very impressed with how beautiful it was...and she was also impressed to see so many latino people there getting married. It was a wonderful experience (for me anyway) There was such a simple spirit there. We sat for about 10 minutes just watching the people come in and out and the newly married couples! We didn't get a chance to go and see the the statue of christ, I think the high altitude got to Maria so we decided to just head home! 
We are really glad we got to spend some time with her and wish she was a little closer to us! I know Miguel really enjoyed having his mom here.

Shall I mention once again, I live in Salt Lake! You haven't even seen our new place, heck, I don't think you even saw the old place. I know you come to SLC every once in a while, so no more excuses. Drop us a line and come visit next time!!!! Ella told me she wants to see you. (How's that for a guilt trip?!)
I am so glad you got to play the perfect wife. That is so much fun (once in a while). I bet it was so nice for Miguel to see his mom.
