Alvarado Happenings

I must apologize for my long absence... I really didn't think anyone cared until Brad (my Cousin) mentioned something about it! So Thanks Brad for making me feel good! Not too much has been going on with us...mostly just work and home...nothing too excited to blog about. But I guess we can start off with the Superbowl!! Everyone Loves the Superbowl right? Well I am the kind of person that complains every time Miguel turns on a football game (which is every Sunday, Monday...well just about every day of the week!) But I relent and try to enjoy the Superbowl with him every year. So we watched the Big Game on our Big Screen! When deciding who I wanted to root for I went off the color of shirt I was wearing that happened to be black...so i rooted for the black team and Miguel was wearing read shorts..so he got to root for the red team ( I think it was Arizona) But I always end up rooting for the team that happens to be losing at that moment..I just don't like to see people loose so I am constantly changing through out the whole game. At the end I was rooting for Arizona! We made Little Smokies that were wrapped in Bacon and sprinkled with brown sugar...they were awesome! But my favorite part of the game was the 3D commercial they had right after the half time show for the new Monsters movie! Why can't all TV Be in 3D! We can fly to the moon...but can't have 3D Programing! What is that about!

Now my computer has been having all kind of Virus issues and the internet is somehow infected with some malware so It doesn't let me stay on one page for too long with out kicking me out! It's really the most frustrating thing ever!! And it doesn't let me post pictures. So this post has taken me 3 days to write....lame computer! Whatever you do stay away from Antivirus 360...it doesn't help at all..it is the Virus!

Lisa's Wedding was last weekend and it was a beautiful cermony. She looked amazing..but was quite the Bridezilla..as I'm sure most of you can picture! I am really happy for her and hope that she finally found her happiness with Greg! So Welcome to the Family Greg! Miguel has been in the family for a little over 2 years and he is still getting used to all the people and caos! I think it might take a few more years still :) I did really miss Jake at the wedding...it's sad when someone is missing. and it made it worse knowing that he was in the same state and couldn't be there. :But from his letters he sounds likt he is doing great and loving the MTC so far! So we are happy for him!

Today is Miguel Birthday, Friday the 13th! Hello 28 ( he gets closer and closer to 30 no matter how hard we try to stop it!) ! So I would like to wish him a Happy Birthday! Tonight we are going to Bon Ricos for dinner. Then we are heading out for the weekend to Park City! I can't wait to get away for a few days!

Yesterday we got some sad news. Our pug Cash had a seizure and we took him to the vet and they told us he was Epilectic! What the heck! I was so sad that the poor little guy has to go through that. So we just have to keep an eye on him and write down when he has them and how long they last. If he has alot he will need to be on medication. But the Vet said that it is really common in Pugs and shouldn't do him any damage. He also said that it's probably ok to still breed him. It's just our luck with animals! He probably would have been fine if he had different owners! I'm begining to think when it comes to animals we have really bad luck! So far Sonny is normal..I guess we will see how long that lasts!

Well that is what has been happening around the Alvarado Home for last last month or so! Hopefully I will be able to post pictures soon!
