A Little Fixing up and a Farewel!

Yesterday Miguel and I had the day off of work so we decided to tackle another project in the kitchen.. The built in cabinets! It was a pretty easy project that needed to be done. It only took us about 4 1/2 hours from start to finish. But I am very happy with the results.

These are the before cabinets before...

And this is the whole thing before~ we had already taken off the doors.

And this is the Finished Project!

You might be thinking "That took them 4 hours!?!" But we painted everything to give it the fresh coat of paint and the hinges had to be painted black. Not to mention the back part that was tan took about 3 coats of paint! So it was a little project!

And now I can look at it and actually like it!

We also put the finishing touches on our new light in the entry way. See when we were putting it in we noticed that it was missing the bottom part! So instead of going through the hassle of taking it down and redoing the whole project we just went and bought the same light and took the parts that we needed then returned that light! Terrible I know! But we figured that was what happened to us!

So here is Miguel putting the part on and making it look so much better!

This is what the bottem of the light looked like before

Now I think it looks so much better finished!

Sorry to miss Sunday. All I can say is callings. But I did make it to the temple yesterday to see Jake one more time. It was a neat experience. I love being in the temple with my family. The best was when your dad and grandpa and Jake hugged, and they started to cry. Jake is a really good guy. We will miss him too.

Good job getting another project done! You guys are way more outgoing on house projects than we are:) We have good intentions, but that is about it. Things seem to eventually get done though. I always want to just give up in the middle of a project. I am excited in the beginning, but the excitement soon fades. It looks great!
